BlackSockSubscription.com started out of my own personal frustration of waking up each morning, finding which socks to wear in the dark, making sure they match each other, and finally making sure they match my outfit for the day…and all of this in my typical crazy morning rush. Equally frustrating was folding laundry and matching up socks. Why was I wasting so much time and stress on something so ridiculous? So one day I decided to just throw out all of my socks and start again, like shaking up an etch-a-sketch. I decided I would only buy the exact same pairs of black socks so that I no longer left the house with a morning decision to make, or worse, discovering that I was wearing one blue sock and one black sock in the middle of an important meeting.

It was such a stress relief... it sounds silly, but it’s true. I saved time each morning and didn’t worry about socks any longer.

As I started to tell my friends and family what I had done, I realized that many people had the same problem as I did. So, I finally decided to take things a step further and start a website company and subscription service so that people like me can finally solve their sock problems.
